Peter Ross Wiley

Peter Wiley was born in Farmville, Virginia, and grew up in Bloomington Indiana, Hilo, Hawaii, and Hixson, Tennessee. In his youth he received private art tuition from a variety of teachers. He was for many years involved in educational theatre, often assisting his father, a professor of theatre, with various production tasks.

He studied theatre and political science at Indiana University, Bloomington. He later pursued graduate study in political science at The University of Tennesee, Knoxville, and at The University of Massachusets, Amherst.

He has taught courses in American and international politics at UT Knoxville, UMass, Central College in Pella, Iowa, and at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. He is the founder of Arbour Media LLC, a video production company that has made work for some of the nation's leading firms inclunding PwC, Cisco, Pfizer, Eli Lilly, and Amgen. He has served as a volunteer firefighter at the William Cameron Engine Company in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, and as a member of the Lewisburg Area School Board. He is curretly a member of the Riverstage Community Theatre Company's board of directors.

Wiley lives and works in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania from which keeps track of his two childern as they pursue work in art history and music education. He is married to Dr. Jennifer Sacher Wiley, the noted music educator, violinist, and conductor.
